Valentina Beletskaya
Actress, director, instructor of the "Russkiye Notchi" Theater, dozent in the voice and speech department of the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy.
Member of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia since 1987.
Valentina Beletskaya`s primary research interest is the theory and practice development of voice, breathing and speech. She`s method of voice traning was proved in her studios at the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy of and Russian Nights Theatre Arts School, seminars at universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Sorbonne and workshops with students from Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Italien, Mongolia, Russia, UK, USA.
Valentina Beletskaya`s ongoing projects are studios on the russian-mongolien actors course by Yana Tumina at the St. Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts and Russian Nights Theatre Arts School.

In 1975 she graduated from the department of dramatic art of the Academy of Theatre Art specializing in theater and cinema acting. After graduation she worked in different theaters in St. Petersburg and was engaged in pedagogical activity in the area of breathing, voice and speech. After finishing post-graduate studies she was invited to teach at the department of stage speech in the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy of where she has been working till today.

During the years of teaching, she prepared a lot of actors and directors for theatre, cinema and television. She elaborated and put into practice the experimental program “Breathing. Voice. Speech” for last year’s students of the Vaganova St. Petersburg Academy of Ballet.
In 1992 Valentina Beletskaya founded (together with Aleksandr Markov) the Russian Nights Theatre and School.
